Nobody likes getting injured. But this can be increasingly scary when we realize we don't recover like we used to.

Luckily there are some steps we can take in the weight room to decrease our rate of injury!

1️⃣ Prioritize ROM - the only unsafe range is an untrained one, so prioritizing ROM can build resilience and even mobility!
2️⃣ Don't fear effort - you're never too old to train hard! You may need to be more selective with how often/when you do so, but it's the hard training that elicits adaptation!
3️⃣ Plyometrics - velocity and power start to slope off after the age of 30, and being able to quickly absorb force can be the difference between injury and bouncing right back to base. Don't skip these!
