Great video! Lately I’ve been struggling with finding a purpose and career interest since my interests change so much, but what i found was the one thing that hasn’t changed is my interest in sports. I have a somewhat small background in video production so im leaning towards sports broadcasting at the moment. However sometimes I feel like i lack some of the skills and I undersell my potential. I am set to graduate with a history degree this year and i sometimes wish i would have chosen a different degree like marketing or communications. I also dont know how to make traveling for internships work out if i was to land one. Overall though this video helped me a lot in regard to seeing what skills are needed.

This is next level job searching.. not just sports marketing. Love that I stumbled on this.

Love the video! I’m a 19 year old, freshman in college and I’m beyond motivated to work in an NFL front office and do whatever it takes. These tips are great. Still deciding whether my key word should be “operations” or “Human Resources”. Gonna have to experience! :)

So glad I came across this. My jaw dropped when I listened to your initial career path. I studied biology and kinesiology at Penn State, and now I’m in my final year of physical therapy school. I don’t regret learning what I’ve learned, but I regret going through college just “checking off the boxes” like you said, and not really finding out what I WANT to do. I’m now at a point where I’m learning that I can’t really see myself working in PT for a lifetime career, which is why I’m on this page now. Hopefully when the time is right, I have the tips and knowledge to transition into the field I really want to be in. Thank you!

I'm a sophomore in college and majoring in sports marketing and I love it so far, the classes are actually interesting and engaging. my dream is to work for the NFL but it is not the only place that I am thinking about working in. this video helped a lot and I am happy to see that their are a lot of marketing Job opportunities available.

This video was amazing from beginning to end, I initially found this video because I looked up "How can I get into the sports industry" and I am so happy I did. I feel this video just showed me all the techniques I should start working on now in order to pursue my dream of one day working in the NFL. Like the video was discussing, I am still quite unsure where I would fit into the NFL world but I am quite certain it is where I belong because I love it. I am a second year marketing major at the University of Central Florida and feel that having a marketing degree would be a great way to get me in the door. I will definitely be using your website to job search in the future after my degree, but until then I will start working on common skills that the types of job I want require in order to be a stand out applicant. You really opened my eyes to the possibilities that could be to come as lond as I work hard and strive for them, and for that I thank you.

This channel is awesome. I’ve worked in venue operations for 8 years for multiple NHL teams, an NBA team, and 2 CFL teams. But one day I want to work in operations on the team side.

This is beyond amazing. I’m currently in graduate school, majoring in a MBA in Sports Management. The current program I’m in is actually a collaboration between my university (FIU) and Real Madrid graduate school. So I would be receiving two degrees god willingly. I actually was looking for help in gaining experience so I could build up my resume while I study since I really have none. So thank you so much for this! It’s exactly what I needed!

This is great!!!! My students can't see past U.S.-based pro sports and think that GM is the only way in. I appreciate the message of how big and broad our industry is.

I loved the video. You really instructed me well on how to stand out from the crowd by improving your skill set. I’m currently 18, freshman in college and studying bachelor degree in commerce right now. I’m really interested in the sports industry and want to really find which job/career opportunity would fit my personality. Currently in the process of sending out my cv to football academies and other institutions hoping to get experience in the field. Would love to hear your advice as it would help me reach my full potential!
