I think it does have some affect on your gut bacteria. I often get the bad kind that produce a lot of odorless gas. Drinking tea with Sucralose actually makes me feel better when that happens. Of course Probiotics or Yogurt is a better option.

I wonder if you can explain how much we actually know about gut micro biome as it relates to obesity. For example, is having a "bad" gut microbiome actually linked to obesity? What if I have a bad gut microbiome but I eat LOTS of fibrous vegetables and fruits and a modest amount of minimally processed dairy and lean meat along with my artificial sweeteners? Would I still be doomed to have a bad metabolism and poor glucose control? Do you think an overall healthy diet would counterbalance the issues of too much sucralose/aspartmae/stevia and still lead to a healthy gut?

I was told this by someone who is a dietician (I was seeing her about weight loss) that Splenda is bad for your liver. I didn't see you touch on this I am curious if this is accurate information. Also, I am curious about how artificial sugars affect those with diabetes and I hoping you discuss this in one of your videos. Looking forward to the one on Stevia since that is my artificial sweetener of choice :) BTW your videos are very informative and I appreciate you delving into different studies!

Spenda/Sucralose upset my stomach and gives me awful gas.I advise not to use. I read all labels. Stevia and Monk sugar.
