Spilling the tea on why I stopped using Adobe Photoshop as my main art software AND why I now use Clip Studio Paint ♥️ Apologies for the weird editing—I paused a lot while talking...I’m improving a lot lol

NOTE: I forgot to mention that Photoshop recently added line stabilization but it's still not as good as Clip Studio's. But go ahead and comment that I missed mentioning it anyways.

I've switched to using Affinity Photo with Clip Studio paint and that has been an amazing combination! No more subscription and all of the tools I need. Thanks for the awesome video!

This is the first of your videos that I've I have watched and I have already decided that I will likely watch them all. I don't even draw! Lol. You edited this so well and it is very humourous! I just noticed the calming music in the background.

Great video. Affinity Photo and Designer is a good Photoshop alternative for photos and design stuff. Affinity and Clip Paint also have way better iPad apps than Adobe. For such a large company they shouldn't be as far behind as they are. That integration between iPad and my desktop is one of the many reasons I stopped using Adobe.

5:51 You should have started with this, like, DAMN, you have no idea how many drawings I wish I could have changed with that feature. Now I'm definitely going to try it out. Thank you

I'm so poor I never got into Photoshop. Just moved from Krita to Clip Studio Paint and really loving it. Although Krita is amazing for a free software.

I love the way you express your impression to make Clip Studio Paint as an artist choice whilst saying Photoshop as an enterprise tool.
It gives us more insight in the product. Great job!

Layer color toggle is a great option to have... you change the default color on the button btw (I have mine set to a pinkish red), can also recolor on the fly, really useful for working with multiple layers at the same that you need to distinguish ❤️ clip studio

(transitioning from traditional mediums to digital art) This was the information I needed to finally decide on a program to learn on, thank you. Not too short or drawn out, and my kind of humor as well. Instant sub :D

Photoshop have stabilization by default . They introduced this feature when they swapped to the subscription model i think . It's less advanced than the one you find in clip studio paint but it's there . There is also lazy mezumi available that give you even more option than clip studio . But other than that i agree with you . Photoshop it's not designed for digital painting . It's mainly designed for photo-editing / manipulation but it's so powerful that can do pretty much everything . They also added the wet-brush tool that will help you to simulate oils and watercolors they added also some natural media brushes that work great . I use mainly Corel Painter as my main painting software and i love it but if needed i switch to photoshop for some editing and to use some filter . I used clip studio a lot when i tried to do some comics and i still use it often and it's great . The thing i love the most is that it's very stable and light weight and it have a lot of features specific for illustrator and comic artists . the only thing i don't like a lot with clip studio is that the standard brushes are not great and it lack liquify but other than that for illustration is better than photoshop from different point of view . Great video btw ! You should try krita too . I think you will love it and it's totally free . Keep up the good work😎

The Dec 10 2020 update gave us the ability to use PS brushes now! Just drag the PS brushes from your folders to the brush tab/sidebar and you're good :)

What is better about CSP than Krita or Gimp? Have you tried them? Thank you for a review!
