How to Fix The Dead Android and Red Triangle Error Symbol - Android Recovery Screen

Has your phone or tablet stopped working and is now showing a red triangle with an explanation point? If so, this means your Android phone has crashed and gone into recovery mode. •If there is also a blue bar under the green android, then this means your android phone is being updated. All you need to do it let the phone finish its upgrade process and

This worked for me today. I locked myself out by forgetting my lock screen pattern. Fortunately, my son's insistence several years ago to turn on the Google One Backup has resulted in a complete backup of apps, sms/text, contacts, photos, everything. But I got the red triangle android shown here and couldn't factory reset according to the Google support page which said to just press vol up and power. Thank you so much, and I highly recommend the google one backup even though it requires space on the google account.
