Thank you for this video! I always take notes on things I’m missing. I think that now I’m styling myself better. The shorter collar and small ruffles tip is so great. I always learn new things from your videos.

I really love your thoughtful content and think you have great style! One thing I found interesting about this video regarding your intentionally "short torsoed" silhouettes.

In minute 14:17, you compare that kind of silhouette with a "long on long" version. The "bad" silhouette on the left side really stuck out to me because looked so refreshingly balanced on you in contrast to the intentionally extreme and "unbalanced" look on the right side that puts so much length into your legs.

I think by doing a half tuck and/or maybe a slightly shorter trouser with a "long on long" silhouette, you could have a really cool look that still has enough waist definition so you don't drown in it. I think it could be really interesting to see you experiment with some of these different proportions!

Either way - you always look very polished and put together, and at the end of the day whatever feels best on you is also the best thing to wear :)

Agree with your opinion on fitted necklines. I don’t love a high crew neck as my bust is larger, but I’ve found that the fit and definition around the neck and shoulder incredibly important. I can make a high crew neck work if the band around the neck is wider (better definition for my neck and face) and the shoulder is well fitted. Also, deep Vs give me trouble due to my short torso- I can look like I’m wearing the wrong size even when I’m not.

I think my legs are short in relation to my height (5 ft 2 in with 25” or 26” inseam at most), but I try to keep things balanced. I think I’m also high-waisted? I can wear pants with 11” rise to hit close at narrowest part of my torso. I definitely agree waistline is important for petites. Those long relaxed linen and cotton dresses are beautiful this time of year but overwhelms me especially unstructured ones.

Love this video, Helen! I am not petite, but because of my curvy hips, most of these tips help balance my proportions. Lovely outfits, as always! Gold info here 💛

I'm not petite, but have super short legs and long torso and the tips for the bottom half help me a lot hehe

I am 5' 4" and have a similar build. Fitted top and loose bottoms look most flattering after experimenting for years. I live in Houston. The summer is brutal. Those loose fitting linen dresses are very comfortable, but they look shapeless on me. This video gives me some ideas to make them work. Look for the ones with more defined neck line, slightly more fitted on the upper body, or exposing some shoulders and pick the right length....Fingers are crossed. Thanks Helen.

I'm definitely not petite but still love watching your videos. Such great styling types!!! Always looking forward to them. Somehow I find them relaxing to watch. Maybe it's your accent? And what red lipstick do you where? I looks so natural on you!

I adore the look of long shirt, long trousers on tall women annndddd when it goes on me I look like a kid dressing up in mum's clothing 😂 tbh I still rock the look from time to time anyway ❤

I am 5’3” and getting shorter as I age. I appreciate cropped pants so much because the inseam often is perfect. I don’t have to go for petite size or to shorten the length.

No wonder I don’t like harder fabric button down shirts and shoulder pads. I also gave up on print skirts long ago because they drag the eyes down.

As always great video with wonderfully simple tips but so impactful. Red dress is gorgeous. I love how you balance your outfits. Need help styling long shirts for petite frames. For summer I like long shirts but never know what to pair them in bottoms. Any help will be greatly appreciated❤I also really like your hairstyle suits your face and feels easy to maintain can you let me know what is the name of your hairstyle?

Thank you for this! I feel like I'm always struggling to find items that fit me. Sometimes even "petite" items don't fit me properly, especially for pants.

Sidenote, last year you posted a Japanese inspired style tips video, I'd love to see a Korean version!

I've learned a lot in the last couple of months watching your videos. I now own a few pairs of ribcage jeans including some baggier styles which I am now enjoying but would have steered away from. A question I've had in a few videos but never see any info for, what color lipstick are you wearing? It's such a natural reddish lipstick and would love to know. Thanks for putting these together.

The minute I saw the red dress on you on insta, it's pattern reminded me of ajrak, from ancient Indus civilization. It's one of my favourite patterns.

Love your content so much!!! The advices you gave are useful! May I ask if there is a link for the white top you wore with the cream trousers at 2:38?

im 4'11" and overweight & my biggest issue is finding bottoms that fits my waist but then the inseam length is almost 3-4 inches longer than the XS 😭and the small/xsmalls already have inseams that are almost too long already. I love these videos because I feel so seen!
