Yup....a petite size here! I'm 5' 0". But also NOT slim like I was years ago. Very challenging to dress a petite, slightly overweight frame. But I'm using all these tips and they certainly do help! 😃

Learning that I have a long torso for my 5'1' height was a game-changer. I now wear high waisted pants with my tops tucked in or hemmed to be above my hips. I also learned that wearing vertically striped shirts makes me look longer waisted and shorter legged.

Just my observation kept looking at the stunning black coat type dress and suddenly realized it’s too dark for you. On you the best look was the orange shoes because it helped move the eye and made it less stark. Great video.

I’m 4’10
And as of now 109lbs
I can wear skinny jeans junior size 5 and junior size 9 and 11 depending how the jeans are made. I usually have to cuff them up sometimes.
I no longer wear high heels because I am elderly.
A kitten heel or chunky heel bootie and boots sometimes. Mostly flats though.
I have a hard time sometimes with sleeves being too long also😊

Thanks for this video. Lots of good tips. I will say though, that a lot of us don't necessarily want to look taller, we just want clothes that fit. Pants especially. I'm a petite slim pear, and finding pants that fit is h*ll.
