I adore your videos for petite women. I wish there were more of them. I am 159 cm tall, and you understand me.

Frederique, I don't know if anybody's ever told you this, but your videos are so full of love for all things feminine, pretty, chic, classic, also love to give the outfit that little twist, pop of colour, cheekey/fun touch.... and to share it with the ladies is something beautiful ❤ Wholeheartedly, thank you Sunshine 🤗🥰

Not only am I 5’2”, but I am very short-waisted and wear a 36G bra!! This presents quite a problem. lol 😢. I am also 85 years old but I love your videos and always learn good things from you. Thank you!!!

I found more than ten tips:
1. no low rise or exposed midriff
2. no large prints
3. no chunky shoes - only pointed toe or high heels or nude tone (with skirts)
4. no chunky clothing/bulky knits/excessive fluffy layering - only stream-lined clothing
5. monochrome if possible - or draw the eye from up to down
6. v-necks
7. Don't oversize or swamp your petite frame
8. power of colours - not only dark slimming colours; try colours that suit complexion
9. medium or small hand bag - not large, bulky bags
10. add height not width to your hairstyle; show your neck; have fun with hair

11. avoid large accessories/jewellery in general - the eye is drawn to accessories, so put showy accessories at the top of your body eg flower clip

I've always teetered on petite height-wise, but now after spine surgery, I'm officially a petite. But I also can't wear pointy toe shoes due to bunion & feet pain. 🙏🏼 that'll change after next month's foot surgery. Anyhow, I'd love seeing you use petite models who are older and not as comfortable with their post menopausal bodies. 🙏🏼 you'll share additional outfits that glam up us 50+ petite gals too. Continued blessings, Frederique.

I am 5 ft tall and my boss once said you look so much taller!! I said I dress tall 😂😂😂I love classic lines and monochromatic looks and he literally measured me😂😂😂😂😂😂5ft tall!! I love you my friend and always loved Coco Chanel with her little black dress🎉🎉🎉 I’m 73 now and still like to dress classic and with a less is more mentality!! Great tips my friend!! ❤❤

Thank you so much for your advice, Frédérique! I am almost 51, very small…an inch shorter than you are 😂 Your ideas and tips are so helpful! I have donated all the unflattering clothes (big prints, low rise pants) and am streamlining my wardrobe to be more appropriate for my petite size. Luckily, I always gravitate towards V neck tops and wearing “columns of color” (monochrome), so at least I have that taken care of. I don’t like very high heels anymore, but I do love kitten heels. A few weeks ago, I cut my hair into a cute little bob style, and it’s been so much fun after having long hair for the past five years or so. I look forward to learning more from you! ❤

I wore high heels every day till 70😢Now no place to go with high heels😜Living at the seaside and here you are happy to see people with shoes! Let alone nice flattering shoes! And shoes are a vital element in upgrading your style! Oh how I miss the work(education) and all the places I used to go😃👍🇿🇦

My dear mother had all her clothes tailored to fit her body, including having the tailor sew the pant pocket opening closed and then remove the interior portion of the pocket. It made her pants hang better and smoother. I also do so, and recommend it for ladies who like a smooth look around the hip area.❤

Thanks so much for all the very good advice, at almost 80 I try to be stylish and am already doing everything you suggest but must wear flat shoes. My indulgences are scarves and jewellery. My distraction is a smile smiley eyes work wonders for others and makes one feel good too. Thanks again really appreciate the advice you are a wise woman.

Thank you for addressing hairstyles.
I'm a hairstylist, forever trying to improve my client's
hair to stay within the scale of their body's size.
And to stop hiding behind the hair!

I would love if side zip pants came back. They look so much sleeker. Women don’t need “flies”. I have a pair of corduroy and they look so nice.
