I use an old tuna can I fill it with small chunks of hardwood that I have soaked in water for about 1/2 hour. I cover the tuna can with tin foil poke some holes in the foil with a fork and put the can on the grill like you did with your skillet. I smoke all kinds of things this way from fish to brisket.

Liquid crack 😂! I love channels like this that are funny and still very informative 👍 those ribs look so good. I can't wait to try this on my gas grill!

I am a proud master baster! Master basting is life! The video inspired me to be the best master baster I could be.

I make a boat shaped envelope out of foil and fill it with soaked wood chips. The foil boat goes right on the front burner flavor bar. Smokes for several hours and I replace at the mid point. Also a pan of water under the grill helps keep the air in the grill moist...

I totally agree with you on the membrane Larry, great looking ribs there. I'll have to see if HEB carries that sauce, looks really good.

I have an Aussie grill that is constructed almost exactly the same as the grill in the video. I got it free 8 years ago, replaced the bottom drip tray, gas manifold, and a burner over the years, and it's still holding in there just fine. I store it outside under a grill cover with no real special care taken to preserve it otherwise. For $150 that grill looks to be quite a deal.

Also with mine, Aussie claims you can charcoal grill with it too by removing the burners (which is really easy) and propane tank. Never tried it myself, but that's why that bottom tray is removable.

Awesome barbecue my man!
People don't need fancy equipment to cook good food.
I'm still looking for ribs in a can.

I've been using this technique with a cast iron skillet to hold the wood chips!

I didn't know Kings Hawaiian made a BBQ sauce. I need to acquire some of this "liquid crack" asap.

Awesome looking ribs. I thought they turned out excellent for being cooked on a gas grill. And I do love that membrane too!!! Sounds like I need to try some of that liquid crack BBQ sauce!!! Were those chunks of pineapple or something I saw in the sauce? Have a great weekend Larry!!! Cheers brother!
