8 GB is decent, 16 GB is perfect, 32 GB is the same as 16 GB you are just more fancier. Now, I wonder if Last of Us will run if we get an RTX 3050 in there

If you are using windows 11 and plays latest AAA games. Much better to use 32gb of ram. It can easily max out 16gb of ram.

Assembling a budget PC right now. i3-12100F and an RX 6600 for a 1080p monitor. I'm pretty sure I can stay cheap and just get 16GB. By the time its insufficient I'm sure the i3 will be as well.

I think newer games you’d see a much bigger difference between the 8gb ram and the others.

Also your cpu/gpu isn’t really going to get much higher frames so it doesn’t again show the limiting factor of the ram.

On high end cpu/gpu the difference can be 30fps from using single rank 8gb compared to dual rank 16gb

Definitely a great reviw. I was able to understand clearly the difference between all the amount of RAM. It seems we really don't need 32gb yet. I don't know about the future, we could be needing it soon. Meanwhile and few years onwards i'm sure 16gb will be more than enough to run the games smoothly.

Watchdogs 2 leaves a permanent warning while playing if you only have 8gb, for lower end laptop gpus, extra ram helps tremendously

Yo bro I have a question? I know ram doesn’t give performance but what about when I’m running my games on 90% and higher memory usage? I’ve been stuttering like crazy in those games too. So if I upgrade from 16gb to 32gb would that improve it?
