China, Russia not invited to summit on North Korea in Canada

Foreign ministers from 20 countries are meeting in Vancouver, Canada, to discuss the North Korean nuclear threat.

They are looking for ways to increase diplomatic and financial pressure on North Korea to force it to give up its nuclear ambitions.

But China and Russia have not been invited.

Beijing is North Korea's key trading partner and its only ally. It has called the summit "meaningless". China wants gentle diplomacy to work first instead of tougher measures.

According to Canada's foreign affairs minister, China and Russia were invited.

Here in Canada I heard from the news that China wasn't willing to come and talk.
It was alluded that there would be no hope for improvement without China.
No mention of Russia

The meeting in Canada is just a meaningless show off, wasting times, and effort for nothing. NK is simply laughing until its teeth dropping.

Vancouver meeting is total waste of time ... the correct focus should be peace and prevention of accidental missile launch based on false information. Not sure why Canada plays in the hands of US ... and waste resources and time.
