She says 'we' because she knows Derek loves their kids unconditionally and she came back so their kids could have their parents back.. because she knows Derek's always gonna be with them and she will carry his love for their kids forever! I feel like the show is going to HAVE to end with an elderly Meredith dying peacefully, her kids all grown and living their own lives and she walks off on the beach with Derek. Like, I can't see anything else feeling like a proper end after this? And as much as people love the show, no show can actually last forever. This whole beach thing felt like they were planning to end the series without actually announcing it to shock everyone but maybe changed their minds? Maybe I'm overthinking things again XD

Not sure if anyone else thought of this, but when Derek told Meredith “You have to go” it reminded me of when Derek was about to die and Meredith said “It’s okay, you go” like 😩😩😭😭

Derek's love for Meredith is in the way he hugs her tightly.. he breathes her in.. takes in her lavender scent.. places a tender kiss on her hair.. and he lets her go, because that's what's best for her! it was not her time, and sometimes loving someone is knowing when to let them go.. because you know that when the time is right, they'll come right back to you! MerDer's love is strong enough to let each other go, because in the end this is forever and they'll end up together when the time is right!! 💚💙
