i love addison, not with derek though. a lot of people hated derek during this era because of what he was doing to mer and addison but here’s my standpoint on this: derek was being oblivious and shouldn’t have been with addison and been playing with merediths feelings, BUT derek wanted his marriage to work because addison was like his family, but he was in love with meredith and didn’t want to admit it. the more time he spent away from her the more he wanted her. i take all sides in this situation.

i’m not gonna lie i hated addison with derek bc i stand merder 100% but as a person she was sweet and that scene broke my heart bc i can feel the pain in her voice🥺

I think Addison was a really good character in general, I think she lacked dignity in many places but all things considered she could have been a more hateful character.. If she had just realized that the game she was playing with Derek trying to fix a relationship that went to hell the minute it begun she would have ended up being one of the best characters of season 2. If she had walked away the minute she realized that Derek wan't in love with her anymore and instead was in love with Meredith then I would have liked her so much more.

I felt bad for Addie and Meredith because Addison didn’t deserve getting treated the way that she was treated by Derek and Meredith didn’t deserve that embarrassment because she didn’t do anything wrong

I love Addison but on her Derek's wife era she was insufferable (Derek was even worse). I feel so bad for Meredith, she gets dragged in a marital drama when she was also hurting by Derek's deceit. I would feel so bad and humiliated, mortified about the fact that not only was she blindsided by Derek and Addisons relationship, she also got left and later the entire hospital (your colleagues and BOSS) hear your name being brought up in a seriously inappropriate (due to it being in their place of work EVEN WORSE THAT IS A HOSPITAL) marital dispute. Both Addison and Derek did Meredith dirty.

Addison was a great character and I honestly preferred her to Derek overall, but anyone defending her here and not Derek have serious issues. 💀

It’s just cringe to see that in real life it would be extremely uncomfortable to watch….. I feel like these persons would have to have move their workplace.
