John 16 - Skip Heitzig

Jesus' disciples had a hard time understanding that He was going to die, rise again, and ascend to heaven. In this study of the Upper Room Discourse, we see that Jesus told His disciples He was leaving them and they would eventually suffer persecution, but they would be filled with everlasting joy in the Holy Spirit.

I have gone to church my whole life. I just recently I started attending a Baptist church regularly. Last night was the first time in my whole life that they asked me to go home. I graduated from Visible music college in June of 2022. The pastor at the Baptist church asked me to play the piano there, I thought that God had opened the door for me to begin playing the piano. Last night I was asked to leave because they didn’t want me to mess up the other singers, which there was no one there and everyone on the team was out of town, then they try to say that I don’t want to sing. And they don’t want to help me learn my gift of playing the piano and I heard them talking about me. My whole life of going to church, I never have heard anyone talking about me and I have never been told that I could not participate until now. I tried helping my parents shampoo their carpets for their furniture and they got mad and said I was not thinking right. I moved back to Gallup in 2000 after my car wreck, my mom never let me do my laundry in her machines, during Easter I saw my mom talking to that woman who stole my identity. I can’t stop crying since last night. I don’t have anyone to talk to. I am hurt, and I feel hopeless

Thanks for the John 16 dialogue. I should have stated that in my earlier comment. Many Theologians and Biblical Historians who've written books on the bible or NT have not covered John 16. It seems like you said in the video that John 16 is the work for the Holy Spirit Advocate.

Jesus, 15131 = 191 = 29 or 92, is numerologically the same as Rabbi = 93229 = 9529 = 997 = 297 = 99 = Son of Man = 165 66 435 = 75 12 93 = 12 3 93 = 99 = 29 or 92. Light = 39782 = 39152 = 398 = 119 or 911 = 29 or 92.

Jesus said seeing Jesus was seeing the ONE who sent him and he referred to the ONE who sent him as the (Mighty 91 = 10 = 1) + (ONE = 655 = 610 = 61 = 7) = 8 = GOD = 764 = 710 = (7)(1). Therefore, when you look at the name Jesus or 191, the nine somewhat represents a mirror and the 1 on each side of the nine is the same thing or one is the reflection of the other or "another of the same kind." However, remember Jesus said the Father is greater than I. Jesus also said the messenger cannot be greater than the ONE who sent him.

Recall Mary Magdelene called Jesus Rabboni when she realized she wasn't seeing a gardener in the tomb? Well, have you ever wondered about Rabbi and Rabboni both meaning teacher? Well, Rabboni equals 9322659 = 95859 = 91359 = 999 = 39 or 93. Hmm, Jesus spirit returned to the one who sent him, and when he resurrected he was 91 + 92 = 93 and Advocate = 34463325 = 74955 = 11910 = 291 = 93. Hmm, Jesus became who he would send in the distant future; otherwise, known as "in a little while."

Now, how is the church doing in general? I served on a parochial school board and tried solving the problems facing the school, the three churches that funded the school, and then looked at the overall problems facing the church globally. Attendance and affiliation were in decline back in the late '90s and early 2000s. It is still in decline. John 16:7-15 speaks to the world being proven wrong about sin, righteousness, and judgment. Jesus also said the "Gates of Hades will not overcome his church." Could the decline of the Church be a function of Hades and not teaching the true words of Jesus, which is how the world would end up being wrong about sin, righteousness, and judgment?

Do you think the church is ready and willing to hear the truth, or is it going to continue its decline? Think about this one for a few seconds: Many people who fall away from the Church don't fall away from Jesus, rather they seem to leave because being a John 13:34-35 disciple isn't compatible with the church they attend or belong to or that particular denomination. Finally, Jesus spoke about the temple being rebuilt in 3 days, but he was referring to his body. If the temple was his body, is HIS church the people who follow the command that defines discipleship? If you belong to a church that sits in judgment of others in opposition to John 5:22, 8:15, 12:47-48, do you stick with that church or do you leave and just follow Jesus two commands John 13:34-35 and John 15:9-17?

When Christ returns, He's not going to come as a Spirit but as another person, a Manifestation of God! It says "He will take of Mine and Shew it unto you". The pronoun is He, Christ is going to return as a person not a spirit of Ghost!
