(In 4K) Rogue One Opening Title Sequence Remake

I saw Rogue One last night and got bored so I decided to remake the title sequence that was used in the film. It was a creative decision to include the Lucasfilm logo and "A long time ago..." line at the start to give the title itself a little build up.

I did this all in After Affects with no added plugins; it was relatively simple and easy to do.

after watching the movie several times, the title music for Rogue One was everything one could want. It's equally triumphant, hopeful and reverent all at the same time. A short but sweet musical piece for a sacrifice that should never be forgotten in Star Wars.

What's amazing about this opening, Giacchino actually used the same exact notes as the notes in the traditional Star Wars theme. Essentially broke down the original theme down to the notes and added more of the same notes or made them "longer"

It's nicely done but I prefer the version in the actual film :P I'm glad they had the courage not to do an classical opening crawl.
