1 Thessalonians 4:16-18
21st Century King James Version
16 For the Lord Himself shall descend from Heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God; and the dead in Christ shall rise first;

17 then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so shall we ever be with the Lord.

18 Therefore comfort one another with these words.

I agree. The "taken" are the ones who are swept away, and the "left" are those who remain and not swept away. The chaff is blown away and the wheat remains.

The trouble with this, is that the Greek is very specific in its meaning. The word "taken" in Matthew 24 is paralambano, which means to be received to oneself, along side of, not rejected, as to be joined together. Jesus said one will be received to Me and joined together with Me, and the other left. It can't mean in judgement unless Jesus is a part of that same judgement.

Matthew13:30 Let both grow together until the harvest. At that time I will tell the harvesters: FIRST collect the weeds and tie them in bundles to be burned; THEN gather the wheat and bring it into my barn”

Yah bless you. keep up with the Good works you are performing.

100% DISAGREE WITH THIS MAN! For those on the fence about this topic, simple explanation is= "TAKEN" means to grab something or someone for oneself (as in possession of or ownership). Even the words "TAKEN AWAY" means to grab and use or enjoy somewhere else. It does not mean to dispose of or get rid of as this man here is trying to persuade you to believe. Jesus will come for his bride the church and I 100% believe believers will be TAKEN! Please pray to God when reading your bible. I like to watch this guy's content from time to time and he seems legit, but after watching his previous post about this topic, and this one, I got to say something is a little off about his studies. It's giving Jehova's witness vibes.

Yes!!! 👏👏👏 I'm glad someone else sees this too! The very context shows this, the verse above says the wicked in Noah's time were unaware of the impending flood until it came and *took them all away* ! In keeping with the reference to Noah, it has to be the wicked being taken! I pray the Lord will open our eyes to *see* the truth of Scripture

I’ve been studying and diligently studying the scriptures for 40 years. This is the first time I’ve watched your channel. You have a gift. You’re doing right. Keep going! Christ is in you and you’re doing a lot of good, my brother. I learned some good stuff tonight. Thank you, my friend.

A very interesting thing about Matthew 24:40 is that there will be 2 men "in the field" and 24:41 says 2 women "grinding at the mill." I other words, in both instances the 2 individuals will be doing the same thing ... and yet, one will be taken and one left. I guess, none of us will know the reality of our walk with God until that day. It reminds me of Matthew 7:21 - 23 ... not everyone who says "Lord, Lord" to Jesus will be allowed in the Kingdom of God ... but He who does the will of the Father. And, Jesus' judgment to such people ... "depart from Me" ... coincides with this video teaching here. Let's take heed to our own selves and watch our own lives in light of the Scripture. Good teaching, brother. God bless you!

“He who now restrains, will do so until He is taken out of the way.” 2 Thess, 2:7. Clearly the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit resides in me. Therefore, when He is taken out of the way, my Helper who Jesus left for all who accept Him, I will be on the way out, also. Praise God for His salvation!

Why would the Bride suffer the wrath? We know this is not true for we are not subject to wrath.

Matthew 13:27 The owner’s servants came to him and said, ‘Sir, didn’t you sow good seed in your field? Where then did the weeds come from?’
28‘An enemy did this, ’ he replied. So the servants asked him, ‘Do you want us to go and pull them up?’ 29‘No, ’ he said, ‘if you pull the weeds now, you might uproot the wheat with them. 30Let both grow together until the harvest. At that time I will tell the harvesters: First collect the weeds and tie them in bundles to be burned; then gather the wheat into my barn.’ ” First Collect the weeds! After that 1 Thessalonians 4:16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a loud command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will be the first to rise. 17 After that, we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore encourage one another with these words.

I stumbled on that unforgettable thought awhile back too. Thank you for connecting all the dots and articulating them for us. This is so remarkable.

Evil will be wiped out to ashes...
We will stand up.

Ephesians
6:13
Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that
you may be able to

“withstand in the evil day, ”
and having done all,

“to stand firm. “

Luke
21:36
Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted

“worthy to escape”

all these things that shall come to pass, and

“to stand before the Son of man”

The word “taken” in the Greek used here is “par-al-am-ban'-o”

It’s defined as..

to take to, to take with one's self, to join to one's self
an associate, a companion

We are taken to be joined with Christ.

Well whenever or whatever happens I will always trust in the lord Jesus Christ. All I know is he’s got me out of a lot of sticky situations and I’m sure whatever is to come he’ll help me with that also. I love you Jesus!!!
