It's funny how even if the Bible wasn't true it still teaches truth and is still good for humanity to believe and obey. And if it is true (it is) it's the greatest news/book in existence. So how can a book be truth and good regardless of whether it is actually true? Doesn't that make it the truest book ever. To me it suggests that it's origin is divine and the truth written within it is upheld by God not by man and what God has made to be true cannot be made false. It is the work of God not man.

Christ was a messianic figure because he led the revolution away from statutory/ethical religions to juristic/conceptual and law based religion that acknowledged Original Sin and created the foundation for the Trinity. Knowledge of right and wrong is inherently in us, we do not need kings to tell us what is real. We only need the single commandment of the NT to regulate statutory law. Ethical/statutory religions are for kings, not people. Kings always have different ideas about how things should be than people. In juristic societies, the law is supreme, in ethical systems, the kings wishes are supreme law. Judaism and Islam are the religions of kings. Kings hate Christianity.
