I'm so tired of seeing intelligent conversations between people with differing opinions described as, so and so "STUMPED" "destroyed" "wasted" etc. It's very immature and almost always inaccurate. Please stop with the childish clickbait.

While I really liked this video, the title is still CLICKBAIT! Saying Ben Shapiro was stumped is not borne out by the video.

Nah Ben is wrong Christians are absolutely supposed to try everyday to embody Christ. We should strive every day to be as much like Jesus as possible, though we know we will never measure up because only Christ is without sin & only Christ lived a perfect life. But just because we cant be like Jesus doesn't mean that we shouldn't try.

Wherever Ben got that idea is absolutely tragic. YES, Jesus died for our sins. BUT, that doesn’t give us free rein. We MUST Repent, Be baptized, and receive the Holy Spirit…and that doesn’t just mean “I’m saved! Yayyy”. You must believe the gospels. You must believe the Bible (all of it). We’re not perfect, but we (as Christians) MUST try to live in accordance with God’s Word. We must also REPENT and watch and pray almost incessantly to be Christ-Like.

Jesus would not use clickbait for money nor gain. He would just tell the truth. Ben Shapiro was just a gentleman sitting there listening. His answer was superb.
If you're going to talk about Christianity- be more like Jesus.

Deuteronomy 13: 1-6

1 Everything I command you that you shall be careful to do it. You shall neither add to it, nor subtract from it.

2 If there will arise among you a prophet, or a dreamer of a dream, and he gives you a sign or a wonder,

3 and the sign or the wonder of which he spoke to you happens, [and he] says, "Let us go after other gods which you have not known, and let us worship them, "

4 you shall not heed the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of a dream; for the Lord, your God, is testing you, to know whether you really love the Lord, your God, with all your heart and with all your soul.

5 You shall follow the Lord, your God, fear Him, keep His commandments, heed His voice, worship Him, and cleave to Him.

6 And that prophet, or that dreamer of a dream shall be put to death; because he spoke falsehood about the Lord, your God Who brought you out of the land of Egypt, and Who redeemed you from the house of bondage, to lead you astray from the way in which the Lord, your God, commanded you to go; so shall you clear away the evil from your midst.

Jesus is a very specific frequency, your higher mind. If you knew him you would know this, he has an enormous sense of humor.

Peterson said nothing about the most crucial aspect of Christianity: God the Son incarnated as very man, lived a regular life that included all the usual temptations but was without sin, and sacrificed His mortal flesh & blood on the cross to make propitiation for our sins. Then He rose from the dead to prove His bona fides and to show that we, too, will be raised from the dead one day: to everlasting life if we accepted the gift of God's grace through faith in Jesus' redemptive act for us, or to everlasting separation from God if we fail to receive the gift in this lifetime. The actual cause of change in the believer, contrary to what Peterson propounds, is the indwelling of the Real Presence of God the Holy Spirit who not only renews our spirit but also guides and enables us to do good (if we will simply cooperate in unselfish love).

In Catholicism we do believe that we need to accept our suffering offer it up to God to use for the betterment of the world. We take our suffering and imitate Jesus. On the cross. He offered it up to God the Father in the end. And that is what we have to do. We also are to be humble and gentle.

To finish what I just stated: It is by virtue of bringing in the light that darkness fades ( of its own accord). It is NOT by eliminating the darkness that we get light. It is rather by bringing in the light that the darkness is dispelled. I offer this for Mr. Peterson to consider.

I really enjoyed how Jordan Peterson can articulate the meaning of any sort of subject he chooses to talk about. And I actually understand what he is speaking about. Generally I feel the same way about Ben Shapiro also, although I do not agree with his religious beliefs I do believe he is very understanding of other’s beliefs. You can tell Jordan and Ben have a great amount of respect for each other in the way they speak to one another. The title of the video didn’t bother me one way or the other. Just happy to have watched the two of them talk about what they did and the amount of respect given to each others point of view. You don’t see that very much anymore. I’m sure the both of them agree on a lot of things, and disagree on just as much, but I guarantee you will always have a civil interesting conversation on both accounts.

Possessing intelligence is good. Exhibiting wisdom is better. The beginning of wisdom is to know God.
"The beginning of wisdom is the fear of the Lord, and the knowledge of holy things, is understanding."

It occurs to me that Shapiro, and to an extent Peterson, are conflating or confusing the ideas of salvation and sanctification.

when you try come up with a logical explanation for Christianity without accepting Christianity as true, seems even Ben understands the concept better than the host and Jordan
