Correlation doesnt equal causation. You have to be pretty smart and hardworking to get into Harvard in the 1st place, so it's difficult to prove that Harvard is the reason that its students go on to be successful.

And just because most students that have gone to harvard do well, it doesn't necessarily mean that Harvard is the cause of their success.

So no. We won't know where Harvard gets us. We'll never know until we've gone through Harvard and can look back to see where it got us.

I recently did a personal study of where Harvard/Yale graduates ended up doing/going to work for. At least from what I saw, it truly comes down to your university’s career services and connections center. My uni has the very similar connections w/ ivy schools (frankly same imo). But it truly comes down to the individual to work hard. Food for thought.
