Ya, the capture feed lagged right out, pretty much the fps is 1 frame per 3 or 4 minutes, and once well over 5 minutes... except for the beginning and the end. I imagine your local pc's were maxed out by the layers of bandwidth and processes going on while processing 6 cameras. The video didnt follow at all what you were pointing to in software or the surveillance camera footage as you were playing with them.
The audio was very good, great info, there just was no usable video, to follow what you were saying.

Seemed though that at your the screen-recording (or QNAP NAS) stagnated a bit and did not capture what you were talking about & referring at but we do get the messages.
I'm currently using QNAP Surveillance Station and will be upgrading to QVR Pro.
Synology's current iteration does look a bit like what QNAP Surveillance Station is.
I do like QVR Pro a bit more, as it to me indicates that QNAP will add more features & functions into it without the need to rewrite the whole App again.
As if these are independent building-blocks, perhaps even allowing 3rd party add-on's (next to their own plugins)
I also expect, as I see QNAP's Licensing portal, that they would like to make this a more service-charge where you "regularly" pay money to (keep) using the App and/or their services.

Synology wants HOW MUCH for additional cameras? NZD$100 EACH, PLUS SHIPPING?!?! WHY DOES A LICENSE REQUIRE POSTAGE IN 2021!?!?! I can forgive the "you must use our RAM and on premium systems, our drives" thing but selling codes to plug cameras in that cost MORE THAN THE CAMERAS and AREN'T EVEN SUPPLIED ONLINE is fully insane

Hi I hope you could help me, or respond or make a new video about this. I have 3 warehouses locations with 12 cams in each locations, they have internet and I can stream and access the NVR online, all similar Dahua System. im considering to buy the Synology 8 bay DS1819+ quadcore but Im not sure if is it possible to have the each NVR save to the NAS on 2 harddrives on raid, and the NAS I plan it to be at home. Is this a possible setup and if yes how do I set this up? which settings.
Also is there a way that if I have a power outage athome, the NVR will then record automatically to its local harddrive inside the NVR?
