I absolutely love this series so far! The editing, cinematography, etc. is beautifully done; thanks to those who filmed and edited. I appreciate this series and look forward to the next episode because, as someone who graduated from a different seminary, I am witnessing how these two young men are being formed differently for the love of God. This I appreciate, seeing how seminary is done from a different perspective with a different terminal goal—for these young men, the priesthood; for me, the academy. And so, this series is really grounding for me as I experience these factors through their experiences at their seminary. All of that to say that this is an honor and pleasure to see and understand how seminary is done from their end. As Adam put it succinctly, we are being formed for different things. I do hope their studies go well and I do hope they take NT Greek with Fr Peter and, if possible, Biblical Hebrew and Aramaic, haha! I am very excited for what is to come from this series!

Very informative video. Is our lady of Grace seminary part of Saint John’s seminary? I see Our Lady of Grace in the beginning and then I see people in the car going to classes at Saint John’s

Are the Oblate seminarians required to wear the cassock? It seems most clerics no longer dress in them. I know one congregation that I am familiar with eliminated them in 1971.
