This is by far the best impression of a woman falling in love right then and there from any actress I've ever seen. Perfection.

All those kids learned more in that 7 min speech the Colonel gave than not only in their time at that school, but in their life so far!

This has to be Al Pacino`s finest performance ever.

If you think this is one of the best movies ever made, give me a “Hoo-Hah!”

Love the way the beauty of Ms Dowd is presented. Beautiful in the flesh, in her personality...her heart. Wish I could say it better

It may get dated through the years but will remain an uplifting classic.

What a good movie does on people is to influence and impact them in a subtle way for a long time…you rarely see a movie like that. Maybe one in a decade. This movie is definitely the one…love it.

I’d like to think Ms. Downs became the Colonel’s girlfriend and Charlie stayed in his life also.

1:23 look at his hands, a quick search, some finger movements, a little stumble...amazing acting.

The applause from the students and the ensuing music always gives me goose bumps.

I just love the look on rich daddy's face when he realizes that his money didn't help

One of my all time favorite movies. I could watch the scene at the end over and over and still feel exhilarated each time.

When i saw this movie the first time and all jumped up an cheered i cried. Its just shows you that money cannot buy anything than problems. He stood his ground. When i become a teacher some day the last school day my class have, they will see this movie.

Charlie saved him and Colonel Frank Slade saved him back. That's friendship for ya!

@ 3:00; Charlie in awe again. I love how both these men have so much to learn from one another. Frank learns of courage and character. Charlie learns how to talk to women. In the end both men have grown and benefited from one another's friendship. A great story.

The 7 dislikes belong to Mr. Trask, George, George's daddy, Harry, Jimmy, Trent and lastly....Ms. Downs's ex boyfriend, who must be lubder.

At 1:15, when Frank leans over to Charlie, I believe he's telling now's the time for us to make our triumphant we?"

Al Pacino & Chris O'Donnell. 2 brilliant performances and actors 😉 . RIP James Rebhorn (Mr. Trask) as well as Philip Seymour Hoffman (George Willis Jr.) . Long overdue condolences to the families for your loss 😟 . By the way. Frances Conroy is a stunning redhead 😁
