Worth noting in relationship to how often to test your level: I'm 72 and started meat based keto diet from WFPB in January of this year. In 3 months my testosterone went from 450 to 730. Diet was the only change.

TRT changed my life, i used to be skinny fat and couldn't get normal muscle mass/strength no matter how hard i tried. Heck i couldn't even properly do a single pushup when i had the testosterone level of a 90 year old. Now i can work out like an average person and actually increase strenght/muscle. Getting a healthy testosterone level allowed me to reduce my depression and binge eating too. Interesting fact, ssri's make low tosterone much worse. Having healthy testosterone is required for wanting to be alive. You will be absolutely miserable with low testosterone.

I had a drop in testosterone but powerlifting and ketones over the last couple of years seem to have increased my levels greatly. Before, I considered therapy but not anymore because now my energy levels are very high, workouts are very productive, building muscle and at 55 my wife is extremely happy with how I look and you can figure out the rest, 🙂. Thanks Doc!

I had the test of a pre-adolescent kid basically.

I'm going to assume that this vid doesn't apply to metabolic syndrome, correct? As a female I had PCOS, and had such high testosterone it was devastating to me as a young girl. At puberty I gained 50 lbs in 6 mos without doing anything different. I was obese my entire life.
Now, IF and a ketovore, at 64, I'm in the best health and condition I'd ever been.

Fasting may work for myself and others, but it doesn’t work for a lot of people. Some people binge and restrict!
There is no one size fits all approach. I know several people who never fast and eat multiple times a day and they’re very thin and healthy!
