I’ve brought 2 potted plants into my somewhat heated rec room basement for 4 winters…. water occasionally, positioned by a large south-facing window and a timed red light illumination a couple hrs nightly. Back outside, come Spring. Maybe too much?

i have a hibiscus plant in a big pot. if i bring the plant inside would it be a good idea to put it in a portable greenhouse or use one of those lamp bulb . i dont have much sun light coming in the window.
