How to Make Fishing Leads

Making fishing weights - fishing leads.

This video shows you how I make my fishing leads using various fishing weight moulds from start to finish. Making some ball fishing weights mainly for float fishing and some 2 oz plain weights for bait fishing.

Try casting with a hot mold for smoother results without coldshut lines

Good job but Just an advice Always wear a Mask FFA2P3 when you melt lead and wear Also protective glasses gloves and a protection suit that Is useful to protect you from lead particles.

Great how to video, where did you get the wire winder? Did you buy it, if so where from or did you make it? I've been using pliers and it's not easy doing it like that.

What sort of temp does the lead melt at? Ive got a camping stove similar to yours. I reckon the mrs would be pissed if I.used her brand new hob😂
