Yes, the one ship that usually sails alone and was made to take out carrier groups, a badass lone wolf
And for anybody wondering, it has ALLOT of anti rocket measures, including a few turrets that have 2 guns each that shoot faster than the CWIS and also has (I think) 8 rockets each for anti missle and aircraft
And anti ship missles are over 100 with a upgrade underway.

An Impressive and formidable ship to be sure. The problem is they only have one active unit and another undergoing refit. It will only take one Submarine to send it to the bottom.

Muheheee no airplanes in the air, Kirov is in visual contact unchallenged, CIWS on US navy speeling, russian 100%. In every CBG is nuclear submarine. So nice video, You have to feel like invincible hero :-D

Back in the day there was this game called Harpoon, which was a pretty realistic modelling of Cold War era naval combat. You had to cheat pretty hard for the USSR to have any luck against something like a CVBG. The primary threat was not any Soviet surface ship (or even submarine), it was a few wings of strike bombers carrying a double wide buttload of ASMs. Even if you were successful, 80% or more of your bombers were not coming back.

Surely it would have been subject to a barrage of air attacks hundreds of Miles out, then it's CIWS overwhelmed by a barrage of harpoons once within 100 Miles. Fantastic ship though.

I do not understand why there are so many people who get angry and take it so seriously, it is just a game, it is very difficult to understand that? It makes me laugh to see how they get angry because a Russian cruiser sinks an American convoy, It is just a game
