Simple Minds 'Don't You Forget About Me' (Expanded & Remastered) (Scenes from Breakfast Club) HD
Показать описание
2015 will be the 30th anniversary of one of my favorite movies from my teen years, The Breakfast Club. I was 17 and with this movie comes some amazing memories of more pleasant times for me.
Included in the video is an excerpt from the original 12' remix of the song, and then edited into the most recent remaster of the complete single version. I've included dialogue from the movie once at the beginning and then towards the end.
The song was written by Keith Forsey and Steve Schiff and first included on the Breakfast Club soundtrack, but didn't show up on a Simple minds release until their Greatest Hits in 1992. Apparently The Fixx and Billy Idol turned the song down before Simple Minds took it over - excellent choice, to be honest.
I did not remaster this track. It was taken from a Universal compilation, and the film was taken from the Blu-Ray, but has been dropped a bit in quality after piecing the edits together.
I put my name on the video because lately I've run into someone stealing my videos and taking credit for them. I didn't want to seem pretentious and call myself the 'director' of the video, so it just reads that I edited this.
Again, the editing is Sony Vegas, which I recommend to anyone wanting to make videos much like this one. and this one is in HD because somebody always tells me to upload these things as such. So there you go. This was rendered in HD so I had no choice.
Thanks again and enjoy :)
