How to Fix or Restore Vertical Ruler missing in MS Word

Rulers in Word help you position text, graphics, tables, and other elements in your documents.
Many of us experiencing vertical rulers problem. In this video i will show you how to fix missing vertical rulers.

Go to File tab, and click Options.
Click Display.
Under Page display options, put check in "show white space between pages in Layout view.

Now your vertical ruler is working.

By the way, do you by any means know why after my last big Windows 11 update, now see the icon in front of my mp3's and mp4's as being the same? Before the videos had a different icon, because it's a different file type... It's really strange.

Vertical ruler is very light colored in my case as a result am unable to drag adjust top and bottom margin manually.
