I can confirm that the Native Americans I have known in the Great Plains region of America have no problem with the term "Indian". In fact, that's what they call each other. And this information came from Native professors, elders and leaders, among others. I think it varies. Which makes it difficult for board game designers, I'm sure. OTOH, I doubt Pfister or the publisher bothered to look into it before publishing, so lesson learned?
