people trying to argue is hilarious, none of us know and none of us will know unless we join slipknot, highly unlike chris or the band will release % of money earned so its not even worth trying to debate

Well it's hard to believe a guy with a nose that long.

But even if they weren’t paid equally so what! some members technically deserve more since they play a bigger part and contribute a lot more to the band

Sucks that Chris left. He was probably the funniest member.

Chris found out about smaller LLCs under the bands name in different locations. 2 that were made public I believe. That handle merch sales in different states it is presumed. Chris claims he had no knowledge of these sub companies and hasn’t gotten paid from them. What likely has happened that has been pointed out is that there are different tax codes in different areas and these were set up to handle business more smoothly in different states. This money then is being funneled into the Parent company. Chris never got paid directly from these sub “companies” so he assumed he had been missing out on paychecks and Corey/Shawn were hiding money. Corey and Shawn are owning partners in Slipknot and handle business matters. Despite his long history with the band Chris is considered a employed musician of the group. I’m sure there are discussions with band members over major business choices. However someone has to drive the ship and handle the mundane which is Corey/Shawn. He was probably told there was no shady business happening by Shawn/Corey but Chris decided not to trust them at their word. Hence the lawsuit. It’s a shame sue over possibly missing a portion of salary and throwing away your whole salary and future with Slipknot.

More and more it just sounds like Chris is just full of himself like David Silveria when he was outed from Korn.

I want Joey and Chris back, if Paul was still alive the original 9 would all be together still

Straight to the point, great work metal injection.

This reminds me of the Paramore situation, where the Farro brothers and Jermy Davis left due to money and other issues. They were also given the "well you're just a hired musician not a member of the band".

Ok, but what does Corey Taylor think about it?

If anything some members SHOULD have been paid more than others, it’s really cool of Slipknot to pay Chris equally as Jim or Mick, two members who obviously contribute much more than a third percussionist does.

Corey and clown make more because they do guest appearances and stuff like that and Chris probably wants a piece of that too

I still think it's harsh to fire Chris and Joey

Highly doubt that. Especially that the ones that write the songs obviously get more money. So his statement is a lie.

That’s such bullshit there is no equal payment ever in that band that is such a bullshit lie. Fehn is one of my best friends, I worked for him for a few years and trust me there was no equal payment of anything ever.

What if actually Chris already return to band but still using tortilla mask

Clown and Corey being founders and song writers DO in fact get payed greater than the rest of the members. For royalties that’s just how the game is

I HIGHLY doubt the three new members are paid equally...

Can somebody explain to me, why Slipknot needed a secon drummer? (Chris Fehn)
When they had Joey.
I mean - nobody had more than one drummer... but Slipknot - had more than one.
Can somebody technically explain why?
