This video follows a construction crew as they work to remove concrete forms from a job site. It highlights the meticulous process involved, from carefully extracting the wedges to properly strapping and packaging the forms for transport. The narrator contemplates exploring alternative forming methods, like insulated concrete forms, to potentially reduce the labor-intensive work. The crew demonstrates their expertise, with some workers becoming increasingly efficient at removing the forms. The video culminates in the loading and departure of the first truck carrying the forms, requiring significant coordination and care to ensure a safe journey. Throughout, the video conveys the substantial effort required to complete this task on the construction site.

The real pro on this one is Jono. Showing up the next day with his mechanics pry tool to get the clips out faster vs. complaining how long it’s taking. That’s a Pro!

A 100 Episode playlist on this house? Better than any show on TV

In the YouTube timescale, it can seem like this this took forever, but this was professionals making sure the most important part of a structure was done right so it lasts for 100 years. Well done. can't wait to see the rest of project.

J-O-B that day. That freestanding solar EV station Is pretty freakin’ cool!

We have subterranean termites here in Florida. Before watching this video I was watching a video about an ICF house build in Orlando. After weeks of setting up, tearing down, and packing up heavy forms, I think the Perkins Bros are now seeing the light of ICF.

What an incredible amount of work start to finish. I'm sure the crew will be happy to me working with lumber.

I was in Greensboro NC for a martial arts tournament this weekend and stopped by the BCO in Bryson City for some Perkins gear on my drive home to Omaha. I absolutely love it and can’t wait to show it off. Your videos are the highlight of my week, I love the whole crew!

Jaime was talking about alternatives to poured wall forms.
I just built my new house near Chattanooga on the side of a hill using Superior Wall foundation system. It is amazing! Precast, pre-insulated with metal studs casted in place. Couldn't be happier

Back in the 60s my Father, an architect, used shuttering with heavy texture deliberately. He even used ferns and branches and horse chestnut leaves to make patterns in his set concrete lintels etc.

Concrete companies local to me have form trucks with a crane and essentially baskets that the forms sit in and they can just drop the forms literally anywhere you could want it. Saves hours or days of moving and loading forms

35 years ago we had the basement walls of our new house poured. The forms had a brick pattern on one side that was usually placed on the outside face. We had them place those panels on the inside giving our basement walls the look of finished brick on the inside.
