Pro tip. Slice a tennis ball, approximately 3/5 around the outside. Then you can squeeze it open, like an old school coin purse, and put screws, bolts, notes, etc. inside it and toss it to your partner. Makes it a lot easier to send up small parts, etc.

@8:51 powerful words of wisdom from your father, and awesome to have children that listened to him! ❤💪🏽

Kudos to Erik and Jamie for finding the source of the squeak.
I wonder how many other builders would have just ignored it.

Thanks for including look at 'finished house' [3:46] Helps a lot! Also like that E's videos are always the right amt of personality -- 10%? 15%? Like kid-tee, the "guy-cut" tomato, haircuts, etc. Breaks-up the teaching/learning content. Thx guys.

Homeowner is going to have a beautiful home and a beautiful view, I don’t know how it could get much better.

Guys, you don't need "200' of hose" for volume, just build an auxiliary tank, out of an old propane tank, to plug inline closer to where you need it. Also, if constructed correctly, turn it into a manifold for up to 6-8 lines. We used to use 6" galvanized pipe, with capped ends, and welded rebar on both sides of the manifold air fittings, to protect them from people stepping on them.

Man you need to invest in a palm nailer for those joist hangers. They even make battery versions. Also the make a long tip glue gun will save on the back when applying that advantec glue.

16:30 you need to get a helical staircase in there! Not only would it meet the needs of the rise and run, but also looks ultra premium and is an amazing feature in a luxury house.

The amount of detail you guy goes into is insane. I haven't seen a builder that goes to that level of "no noise" "It has to be 99% perfect" its insane!. Love the videos!

They make engineered truss joists where the last 4 feet or so is a regular I joist. That way you get the benefit of the open web design of a truss joist but the I joist end can be cut in the field. That would help with those alignment issues! Look up triforce joists

As a roofer from Northern Pennsylvania when we sheet the roof we yell down to the cut man factory left or factory right so they know what side to cut from. It's a little fast than drawing it out. But the more complicated cut it's fast to just draw them out with the numbers on the drawing.. BTW love the videos..

I bought a Fanttik last year when they sponsored you since my current job is repairing computers. It has held up battery-wise and still has a lot of torque, so it is made from good parts.

Could zip systems put A B C D on the floor boards marking the sides to make it easier for you (and others) to indicate where the cut should be?

Wow, just seen the render at 3:47 and I can't wait to see it finished! How about staging it before the handover to celebrate getting 1 million subscribers. I would love to see the house styled as a home and you obviously cannot show us the interior after the client moves in for privacy reasons. Just the main areas- living room, dining room, kitchen, primary bedroom and the porch. Anyone else here wanna see this?

hey just wanted to mention how me and my crew used to do are roof sheets numbers, the best way we came up with is from the point of view of the guy on the roof, using his right and left, we would call out sheets like 48 L 48 B so left and bottom and thats a easy 45 degree angle, another example is 12 L 8 feet B 48 R, it gets pretty easy once your used to it.

You all are fun and informative. Can you all do a video about fasteners (what you use for different situations and why) and some videos with basic and pro tips for using some of your power tools?
