I was a WWE wrestler, and there are regrets I have about my career. Some of them are funny while others still keep me up at night.

Dude I wanna say that it doesn’t matter if you were a mid carder or whatever these people say. You were a WWE superstar, and that alone is in my opinion a huge achievement on its own. My friend is a wrestler in his local town and he’s told me how hard it is to be noticed by WWE, and the fact that you also win tough enough makes you a legend in my eyes.

Mave, you're re-paying your mom far beyond the debt by being an awesome human being and a wonderful soul and probably the son she always wanted. Love ya man

Number 8 hit so hard. 😔

All Maven wanted to do was spoil his mum & give her everything she had given to him over the years. 😢

Sad to know that unfortunately it didn’t happen. 😢

But Maven, if you are reading this, I'll say this, She'd be so proud of you & how hard you worked & even now what an amazing human being you are.

You are a credit not just to yourself but to you're beautiful mother.

❤ 🙏🏻

Ignore people who say “you weren’t even a Mid carder” the fact you got into wwe alone is incredible and something 99.99% of people can never claim to have done.

Maven's accountability is so refreshing to see. It takes a real man to own their mistakes instead of blaming it on others.

It takes a lot of guts to walk in front of billions of people and admit you are wrong. I respect you greatly

This man's honesty and vulnerability is a breath of fresh air. Seeing him open up and give no excuses is why I watch these videos. He gives you everything he went through, and gives us the truth, even if it means him admitting it was his fault. Not a lot of former wrestlers will do that. Seems like most other wrestlers have a million excuses or never take accountability. Thank you for the honesty and the behind the scenes. Keep em coming. Regardless of where you were on the card, you were a WWE Superstar and you lived the dream and are letting us in behind the curtain. I'm also very sorry to hear about your mother. My condolences.

I wish he’d get a WWE show or did commentary. Very entertaining guy, well spoken, and intelligent.

Man I’m surrounded by toxic drama content all day long and happy to decompress by watching your channel. Thank you

Maven, I’m 42 years old and remember watching you during your WWE run. I actually thought your theme song was great and always liked you - you seemed like an everyman that people could connect with. I truly respect you for showing us all how human you are and taking responsibility and owning up for the past. I also lost my mother to cancer in 2019… I can’t imagine how much harder it is to lose her that young. She got to see you live out your dream and be a strong, independent person which I’m sure was amazing for her. God bless you, wish you all the best

"Excuses are the tools of the weak and incompetent"
Maven I absolutely love that quote, I had never heard it before this video, and I am going to carry that with me from this day forward and remind myself of it anytime I have the slightest feeling that I can get away with not being at my best because there's a good "reason" for it. Thank you very much for that inspiration, I think I needed it in my life

never see a pro wrestler so proud of what he was, and not spending his entire life on bitterness, great storyteller, great charisma, great wrestler, what if...

No Maven.. you weren’t a mid carder, you weren’t a multi time heavyweight champion, but what you were was Hope.. you carried the spirit of ever fan ever person who turned on their TV’s and saw someone like them living the dream. And for me personally I saw another man of color out there going through everything I had dreamed of. You were and still are a role model for me and others. Even now I have a wife and three kids and I go back and watch the old footage and matches. So keep doing your thing, Stay safe and stay strong brother . And Thank you for loving the dream we never got to

On behalf of all your subscribers and fans, I want to say that what you are doing right now is your redemption story. It is your comeback (not necessarily in the ring) but giving back to the business. Have no regrets, your an amazing human being and we are lucky to be a part in your journey.

(I had a question that I hope you consider answering in any upcoming Q&A. What was your best and worst venue for Raw/smackdown as well as PPV? Hope you can share some stories of why were they best or worst)

I think the biggest gift for your mom was to see how good her son is doing in life.
The mistake we make is to think that the wealth only makes them happy. They are not unhappy with it but every loving mom can't imagine of a bigger fortune than seeing her kids succeed in life!
But that gift I think you dilivered masterfully!!!
Love your channel and your honest persona.
Love from Germany! I'm a little sad that I didn't see you in Action because at that time I had no time for watching wrestling!
Thank god for Youtube!
