It's already not possible to turn off a Samsung phone without first unlocking the screen. The Google Pixel though can be turned off easily even with the screen locked, which is just silly and I can't understand why Google would miss such thing.

An important difference is Samsung Find will turn on GPS to locate the phone if you have location turned off. Google Find can't do that. Its good to have a Routine setup to turn on GPS, Wifi, and BT remotely by a secret code in an SMS message to help with location.

Hey Jimmy,
did some of the features get removed from the SmartThings Find? I no longer see the 8 different options. Are there additional settings that were added that I need to enable? to be exact, the back up option, retrieve calls and msgs, and unlock no longer show up. Thanks

Thanks for the video. Were both these APPs running together on the same Samsung phone, and if so were there any conflicting issues? I was just wondering is it best to install Google Find My Device on the Samsung phone, while Google has the feature to still lock the phone to the Google account after wiping.

Who remembers how to change the lock screen background based on location in SamartThings? This feature is missing or no longer available in my S24 Ultra. It was a feature in my S21 Ultra but can't remember how to get to it.

Jimmy, you have 4 options on your settings from Find my mobile and i have 5 options.
Retrieve calls and messages is the option you are missing.
