This version is missing the 2nd verse and the middle chorus. "I've listened to preachers, I've listened to fools
I've watched all the dropouts who make their own rules
One person conditioned to rule and control
The media sells it and you live the role"

Randy Rhoads was on the guitar. One of the greatest to ever play, in my opinion. He passed away in 1982 in a horrible plane accident. He was only 25. RIP

Ozzy is a sweetheart. Once I walked into a small room he was in. There were no chairs available, so he stood up, insisting I sit, stating that “women sit, gentlemen stand for them…”

My dad was a Baptist minister. I had the same bans in my household growing up as well. When I was much older and out of the house, my dad and I were going to a ballgame and I had on my music which included this song. He was enjoying the song and he asked me who was singing. I told him it was Ozzy Osbourne. He was shocked. What I learned that day is that people in older generations looked at the messengers and wouldn't listen to the message. It happened with my parents in regards to their parents with Elvis and The Beatles, etc. It happened with my generation with Queen and Ozzy and many others.

That legendary guitar solo... What might have been and unfortunately never will be...fate's a bitch most of the times. R.I.P. Randy, you will always be remembered.

Randy was the best guitarist to play rock. If you want a treat check out Ozzie's tribute album, it's all live with Randy. The treat is Randy believed in giving fans more for their money when doing live shows. Compare studio tracks vs those live tracks on tribute. He adds so much more to his guitar playing when live

A great Ozzy duet has him teaming up with Lita Ford on "Close Your Eyes Forever."

Probably the most recognizable riffs in rock. I was lucky enough to see him play about 2 weeks before he passed.

Randy Rhoads and Eddie Van Halen were the top 2 hard rock guitarists of the late 70's and early 80's!!! Top notch!!!

Randy was the reason I picked up a guitar at 9 years old back in 1999. I was memorized by his skills and his legacy touched many long after he passed RIP Randy ❤

What I found crazy was what happened when I seen Ozzy live in 2009 (finally crossed seeing him live off my bucket list btw). He is called the Prince of Darkness; but in between each song he would say "thank you" and "God bless you" in response to the audiences' aplause.
