I'm on my 9th Subaru. I won't drive anything else. I would really like a small baja or brat type truck with double cab. Subaru is the only thing that comes up my driveway in the winter. They the best car made in my opinion. Thank you so much!

Top 5 changes needed for US market starting with 2026 Outback that can benefit most models.

1. Hybrid powertrain option comparable to Toyota in terms of power and reliability.
2. Next gen infotainment system with reintroduction of physical climate controls
3. Refreshed design language starting with reduced plastic throughout all body trim/panels
4. Top IIHS safety rating and global platform that can adapt to future stricter standards each year
5. Next gen ADAS that is more advanced and can handle more frequent updates each model year as technology changes

We love our 2021 Impreza. Old school with a gas engine, traditional switchgear and a manual. Subaru at it's best.

I think Non plug hybrid is the smart way to go but getting rid of anything analog is disappointing. They should have lifetime warranty on anything digital that doesn’t need to be but personally I’ll stay away from them. I’d like to see a pickup and the return of a hatch WRX

I absolutely despise the Digital gauge trend. Just give me analog gauges and decent-sized entertainment screen with buttons and knobs. I don't know how all these manufacturers think we want everything digital. It's not safe or convenient.

My 24 OBW is the best car I’ve owned in 35 years of driving.

I got a 2024 Forester close to the base trim. It got a tiny screen (in today’s standard), but it’s good enough with apple carplay, and it still has all the physical bottoms/knobs that are much better than buried several in a touchscreen 😁

Agree with the BRAT or Baja as a future choice - I will forever be a Subaru owner and would LOVE a Legacy/Outback-based truck. As far a digital gauge cluster - I would need to see more than the one press picture that Subaru released for the WRX tS before deciding. I do like the BRZ gauge cluster, to a degree. Thanks Alex and stay awesome!

Waiting for the Ascent Wilderness and better still if it’s available as a hybrid!

I wish they would go back to more switches and dials and not use a wide-screen tv for the system. Bring on the hybrids.

I hope they don't make the '26 outback boxy like they did the forester. Keep the outback lower and more sleek, like it is now!

The people at Subaru totally forgot about all of us that endure a few months of cold weather and snow and often enter the car with gloves on.

I like screens but I prefer physical buttons and knobs for everything you need for daily driving. Everything. Screen should just be confirmation and info.

I think swiping or toggling on screen while driving feels like it takes your attention off the road more than operating a knob or pushing a button to engage heater / change temperature etc. With that I mean that you need to really check your inout on the screen and considering how slow Subaru screens have been in the past I am not looking forward to the next generation. I might stick with my MY2019 Outback for longer than I had planned.

I don't care how good they look, all digital is a no-go for me. I'm seeing owners comments everywhere saying they're terrible especially in Subaru's.

I am actually fine with the current lineup of Subaru products. I am on my second Outback and I love it. 2020 Onyx XT owner here and I would just be happy with incremental refinements.

Love our 2021 Outback Onyx XT. My husband wants an Outback of his own but he/we hate that mustache/cladding. Thanks for the updates.
