In this video I show the parts, build, installation process and benchmarks for a very cheap $300 / 300 EUR Hackintosh running macOS Ventura, and compare it to the late 2018 Mac Mini which costs five times as much.

a very well thought out build. No fancy high-end motherboards, you have included affordable yet powerful CPU and an all-round practical configuration.

Thank you so much for this - it just worked after wasting weeks trying to follow the opencore guides and no one explaining anything properly. Super happy!! Thanks again!

Fantastic guide! My daily driver laptop is an old Lenovo X1 Carbon Gen 2 that I made into a hackintosh running 10.15.7. It's been running solid as a hackintosh for over two years now. I really do love MacOS and the Apple ecosystem. My laptop is starting to show its age so I have been considering building an affordable desktop hackintosh. I think I just found my guide! Fantastic job! 😁

Hey man, you should make the back fan work as outake, it gonna make temps better as the hot air is thrown out of the case :D

That’s a super awesome video, thank you for making it.
The only thing I’d say is that I’d really like to see a bit more info on how to modify versions settings for those of us with different CPU’s and graphics cards… .

And if you could eventually, I’d also really love to see an amd processor build hackintosh, given the price to performance ratio of those CPU’s these days.

I bought almost the same components you use here and got it up and running yesterday. I'm a photographer and I play guitar a lot. For both of those activities I demand a bit from my computers and so far it seems this one is hitting the mark for me. I was concerned about underbuilding, but those concerns are dissipating. My old hackintosh had a 3rd gen i7 and here I'm at a 10th gen i3. For guitar, playing live into recording software, latency is always an issue, but so far my buffer size is surprisingly low. The one thing I missed in this build is bluetooth. I got the FenviT919, which set up wifi easily, bluetooth requires a connection to a USB 9 pin port on the board, but it's already in use( there's only one). I think my solution is going to be a dongle. I just want it so I can use my keyboard without hooking it up to USB. Thanks for the great video.

On another note, my editor for my photography lives in Lisbon. I believe you're in Portugal, yes?

I've had the same hackintosh I built 10 years ago and I can't take it any further than Mojave, so it's time I got my OS situation updated. I subscribe to Adobe for Photoshop and Lightroom and right now, I'm stuck with paying for a subscription that I can't upgrade anymore. This sounds like a perfect build and I've ordered parts today. The only difference I've made is 32GB's of RAM and the SSD is 512 GB's. Looking forward to an easy build and thank you very much for sharing this with us. All the details needed appear to be there.

holy crap, this is incredible. I had no idea this was even a thing. Who would've thought that Apple is selling overpriced hardware!? No but seriously, I'm going to be doing this build. My 2020 MBP which costed like 1600 euros has only 8 gb of ram and it thoroughly pisses me off every day. Since I love mac OS though, I was about to buy a new machine for close to 3K euros. The thing is I also really like Windows and Linux. Being able to tri book MacOs, Windows and Arch would be a dream come true. Why hasn't I heard about this before. On top of that, I can save my MBP for when I actually need it.. traveling and whatnot. Thanks! I'll let you know how I get on.

hello and thanks for the great video. I want to make a hackintosh now and I realized that the motherboard is no longer available. In your opinion, an MSI could always be fine but with the H610 chipset .. such as the H610M-E for example. I await your news, thanks again.

Great video, unfortunately I don’t already own a Mac and the installation process of Ventura looks a bit difficult.
