I fiddled with the trans cooler lines on my '10 Explorer for a solid 3 hours prior to seeing this. Even had a mechanic look at it who was also stumped. Tried this. About 15 seconds of direct heat and 5 or 6 "twist and pulls" and we were finished. Thanks for the insight!

Are you doing this with the new radiator in place
