Enter the Factory Mode. Then select wipe data / factory reset. After taht your smartphone will be erasing all personal data and customized settings. After LG Welcome panel pops up you will be able to set up your phone as new.

Thanks for the video, do you know if its possible to hard reset to a previous version of Andriod? I have upgraded to Oreo 8.0 but since the upgrade I have been having some issues such the phone out of the blue says SIM not inserted when there is one and had been working, a re-start fixes the problem, when I had nougat never had an Issue!! or have you come across such issues with OREO? many thanks for you help if you can

When I do these steps, it goes to system recovery. When i scroll down to factory reset, it says ill need to enter the google account information associated with this phone to be able to use it again. I'm thinking there is no way to bypass this?
