I've been trying to balance everything. Got a title saying what it's about but most times, there no mystery hook. Got a decent thumbnail. Got a new HD camera to show off the food and sights of the Island.

Now I'm just trying to create more value.

It's tough with a full time job & kids but I'm getting there!

I attempted to create an intriguing title for my most recent video, and it definitely works! In fact, I think of an interesting title and thumbnail first, before even recording the video. Now all I and everyone else has to do is keep going! Remember, if you just keep posting, it’s guaranteed that some videos will do really well!

I think the things that make for a good title and thumbnail combo differes depending on the niche

I agree with the thumbnails, many of my most popular videos have been a single word and a black background ... spend a load of time creating a great thumbnail and it will get 10 views. Seen many terrible thumbnails about Photoshop and they get 500K views or generally a picture totally unrelated to the subject and that still seems to work.

Since my friend (competitor/challenger) subscribed to Creator Hooks like a month ago, he's been hitting me 100 folds on views while we're doing the same content. Surely been sleeping on this gold.

I honestly think that thumbnails are a little bit more important than titles because since pictures are a lot better at catching the eye than words, the first thing a viewer sees is the thumbnail, so you need to make a thumbnail interesting or they aren’t even going to read the title (or maybe they do, that’s what I do as a viewer).
