The Truth to Spiritual Path: Forget Being Nice

The belief that spirituality equates to being nice is a common misconception. As Professor Kees Waaijman said, Spirituality is fundamentally about reconnecting with the original shape of humanity, which is seen as the image of God. This journey of re-formation is oriented around specific molds: the Torah in Judaism, Christ in Christianity, Buddha in Buddhism, Muhammad in Islam, and so on. These models serve as archetypes, guiding individuals on their spiritual paths.
The quest to align with these holy figures often leads us to equate spirituality with embodying their virtues, particularly the virtue of goodness. Thus, spirituality becomes synonymous with being nice. However, as Carl Jung wisely noted, "Every form of addiction is bad, no matter whether the narcotic is alcohol or morphine or idealism." This insight reveals a critical pitfall in our spiritual pursuits: the risk of becoming addicted to these seemingly unreachable spiritual ideals.

had an interesting conversation with my dad about this. He recently started dateing a new woman. Said she was a hippy, that spend 5 years traveling around the US and other country's before she finally decided to "settle down." but she doesn't do weed or drugs or anything. and then I said: "yeah, a lot of my friends call me and my boyfriend hippy's too even though we don't do weed and stuff." and my dad said "I don't think weed and drugs is what makes someone a hippy, hippy's are people who live their life how they want to and don't let other people get in the way of that." This video reminded me of that.

it all seems so real to me the flow of wisdom and truth just pours out effortlessly, for me I cherish this very much with absolute gratitude for my betterment. But why does my heart or body never resent the idea of whatever i menifest or do even if

I enjoy immensely, being Alone, because I’m not Lonely! I still help people out when needed! I’ve found that my “Walls”, I’ve put up in the Past, that as I take them down, each one contains a Lie, that we told ourselves, so we wouldn’t be Hurt! The clarity has been amazing!!! It is a struggle for me to be authentically honest with myself however I do believe that is about time to be real with ME even though I know many will not accept and understand my own truth.I came to realization that being happy, fulfilled and grateful in life is to be TRUE TO MYSELF…
