How to Use the NEW Smooth Tool in Illustrator | UPDATE

In this video I will present you the simple functions of the new smooth tool that Adobe released as a new update. It is a similar function as the Simplify tool but this one only smoothens out rugged stroke lines and makes them smooth and curvy and the Simplify tool removes the unnecessaries anchor points from the stroke lines.

I have Illustrator 2023 v.27.9 and that "Smooth" option is not there.

You can also use the smooth tool, that allows you to draw where you want the ‘smooth’ to be.

For those who prefer the more precise, manual smoothing options that the actual tool provided in the previous versions of AI, you can just go to >Window across the top, scroll down to >Toolbars, and then click on >Advanced. This will bring back the previous tool bar setup, and while there may be tools brought back that you don't need or maybe don't care for, the smooth tool is back in action in all of it's glory.
