LG TV Magic Remote: How to REGISTER / DEREGISTER (Problems with Remote?)

I show you register and deregister (disconnect) a LG smart TV Magic Remote Control. You may have got a message that says registration failed, or other remote issues like some buttons not working, delayed etc. Deregistering then re-register can solve alot of remote issues. Hope this help.

as soon as i register my new remote controller my remote seems to go into rest mode after i have not used it for a few seconds and that requires me to press any button to wake it up and only after that does it register my button inputs. It's really annoying. anyone know a solution?

My remote works when I unpair it. But as soon as it successfully registered, the remote doesnt work.

My remote was chewed by the dog. So I cannot deregister the old one to pair the new one I got from ebay. Thoughts?
