Each Tuesday, we will be releasing a tech tip video that will give users information on various topics relating to our Storinator storage servers.

In this week's tech tip, our lead engineer, Brett Kelly, talks about a new project that 45Drives has been working on using Ceph Geo-Replication. What's even more exciting, this project is now ready to be released to the open-source community. Ceph Geo-Replication is an efficient, uni-directional backup daemon for CephFS. This means files are copied only from a primary location to a secondary location in one direction, but no files are ever copied back to the primary location.

Be sure to watch next Tuesday, when we give you another 45 Drives tech tip

Could this be a basis for a CephFS inotify mechanism?
