Tuesday Tech Tip - Understanding Data Redundancy with Ceph

Each Tuesday, we will be releasing a tech tip video that will give users information on various topics relating to our Storinator storage servers.

In this week's video, Spencer is back to give his opinion on 2+1 erasure code versus 2 replica and which one is better (or are either of them good?)

Spencer will also briefly dive into more resilient profiles such as 4+2 erasure coding including what we at 45Drives typically deploy, a 4+2 erasure code profile with a custom crush map that can deploy over less servers.
