I’d take either of them in 2024 tbh. 🤠🛻💙
(1988 Ford F150/1988 Chevrolet K1500)
F150 or 1500? 🤔💬
When I’m looking for commercials to dub, I’ll sometimes type “(decade) GM commercials,” and the entire list on YouTube is pretty much old Chevrolet pickup truck commercials. So, I figured I should probably do it at least once. 👀😂
I thought this one was particularly funny because, in the original commercial, it seems pretty obvious at least from the camera angles that the tires on the Chevy are bigger than the tires on the Ford, but the guy goes on and on about suspension related things. Now I’m not saying this WAS the case, but I DID find it pretty funny. 🛞🤏
If I want to find any sort of other GM commercial, I usually have to search up a car brand/model by name, because they made so many of these commercials in the 80s and 90s where the major manufacturers were just hurling shade back and forth. It’s an era of car advertising I’d love to go back to. 📺😂
If you happened to be looking for a truck that can handle randomly rigged up 18” trenches, at least according to the commercial, the 1988 Chevrolet K1500 is the truck for you! (Just make sure you got big wheels 👀)
I wish they’d bring this kind of truck back! I’m looking at you Chevrolet, your express van not changing since 2003 is PROOF you could still make a cat-eye 1500 if you wanted to (you won’t). 😤😤
I think both of these trucks look so good, and honestly,
by 2024 standards, frankly I’d be happy to have either of these rigs. I’m not exactly sure what GM was going for with this ranch trench experiment, but it was a pretty funny commercial to watch. 😂🛻💙
Anyways, as always, thanks so much for stopping by! 🤠💙🛻
