Hello 👋 from Jackson Tennessee, one of the most important things I learned about having goats is to keep their food source at least eight inches off the ground. My uncle introduced me to goats when I was a teenager and I eventually had Nubian standards and absolutely loved them and their milk. I had their manure tested once a year and fortunately never had any problems with parasitic overload. My wife found a great natural spray that we used for udder wash and also a spray for fly control. We managed to keep our contaminates below two ppm in our raw milk 😀we truly enjoyed our goats, but we didn’t want to move them from Oregon to Tennessee besides our farm wasn’t in good condition for any animals.
