Intel can't lower their prices, improve their performances and overall value, at the same time.
They never did that in last decade, so they will not do that next year.

Everyone loves the fact that AMD is winning and Intel is finaly paying the price. But AMD will become what intel was if this keeps up. Competition is required from both sides.

3:33min TDP: Thermal Design Power is not the power consumption electricity what a cpu can drain is the thermal design aspect the heat a cpu can create per watt. So the TDP can be same from the 3950X and still drain more electricity power than a Ryzen 7 3800X or Ryzen 7 2700X.

If they are going with 3nm processes, my suspicion is FinFET is going to be ending it's lifecycle at 5nm due to quantum tunneling. GAAFET seems to be the next range of design that might be viable all the way down to 1nm (basically 2 atoms across). I guess time will tell though.

The value might actually be worse considering improvements upon newer generations even if the prices are lower. As in the improvements of the ridiculously named 10980XE are lacking compared to price.

Tech yes city already tried a 3900x on an A320. Its crazy that it runs, the chip is not at its full potential, but it does run stable.. Its crazy to think about. At least, A320 boards upgrade path is a long one.
