Apps she used/uses to study Korean:
- lingbe (practice by talking with natives and teaching others)
- infinite korean (vocabulary)
- papago (translator)
- naver (for intermediate learners, it’s basically Google but korean)
- hilokal (speak with natives, group calls)

Thank you so much for this, now I feel motivated to learn Korean. Okay, but I got shocked when I heard that you first started learning when you were in 7th grade. I'm in 7th grade

Learning hanguel is very easy but when I start learning speaking korean it's so you really need to struggle and have a lot of time to study it.. Right now Im still learning! Im grade7 too!<33

Love your advice! I want to add some too: First, learn sentence structure. Then, learn basic sentences like "my name is ...", "I go to ...", "I am ...". You will learn the sentence structure well. Then start learning vocabulary. Don't force this! Watch TV, variety shows, and V LIVE. You will learn common vocabulary as you go. Repeat what you hear to get better at pronunciation. Also use videos to learn sentence structure better. Copy a sentence and make similar examples. Korean is a very nuanced language. So remember that context matters a lot when you’re speaking.

I started learning korean for fun when I was in 7th grade too, I learned hangul and some simple phrases, I also learned how to read korean words accurately and that's far as I can get. I stopped because I was not motivated enough, and seeing your video motivated me now that I'm in my 3rd year of college. So, I think I'd give it try again. Thank you!

I’m honestly just learning because my grandmother (not biological) is Japanese and Korean and of course is fluent in both languages. Since she has such a heavy accent when speaking g English, I devoted my time to learn her mother tongue. But Japanese was such a struggle for me, I started studying Korean last year.

So far all I can do is read and write exceptionally. But speaking a listening is a bit harder for me to do. I ended up taking a break as I was losing motivation and faith. When I saw your videos, I got inspired as you were speaking very well. I hope I can continue studying and learning so I can speak to her better!

for the stories in korean, I recommend a childrens show, kongsuni and friends. I lived in Korea when I was in 2nd grade and my korean culture teacher would let us watch it if we did good on our alphabet test. I learned some korean from there. idk about everyone else but it's helpful for me 😜
