She exactly understands how people who don't speak Korean at all should approach and learn the language in the first place.
Also, her pronunciation is just a native speaker. It has been a great motivator for me. Thanks a lot! Hope all is well!!

As a Korean, I can see how much effort you've put into this...thank you so much for loving our language❤

I am Korean. I want to be good at English. But English is too difficult. Actually, I'm using a translator to write this article. English grammar is too hard And in fact, Koreans are not completely good at Korean either. So sometimes people say, "Am I really Korean? I should learn Korean again." So let's be confident and get to know each other's languages!Way to go for it!

I'm amazed at how some people can self-study foreign languages. I tried to do it too at first, but even though I know consistency is the most important part, that's where I struggle the most. So I gave in and paid for online classes. I enjoy it a lot, and even became the Top 1 in our class. ^^ I guess what I'm trying to say is know what learning style you perform best in, instead of forcing yourself and expecting good results because I think learning will only be successful if you enjoy the process. 💌

"The kind of textbook you use does not matter but it is the kind of mindset you use with it." Line went deep into my veins

"The most important thing here is consistency. Rather than going all-out for a few days and then giving up, it's better to go easy and slow, while also enjoying the process."

Saving this quote because not realizing this has caused me a lot of grief :/ even with non-language learning stuff like learning to program.

When you first started talking in Korean, I immediately fell in love with your words and the way you pronounce Korean so smoothly and accurately. Thank you you much for this video, really motivated me!!

I’m Korean, and I spoke it once! But I got too used to the English language and eventually forgot it all. So thank you so much for making this video! Now I can understand and speak Korean a little better! 😊😊
Also your Korean is wonderful! It’s amazing how you managed to learn it by yourself!

My only reason for wanting to learn Korean is so I can read the novels I like in their original language. This video helped me to understand where I should begin. Thank you!

Something that gives me motivation to learn Korean by myself, is that, I was able to teach myself English to a certain level where I can understand everything and be fluent, so I guess I can do the same with Korean

I started to learn korean last year and though I was consistent for 3 months, my motivation dropped bc I thought it'd take me too long to learn it and I got discoureged. But watching your explanation and experience made me believe in myself a little more. Thank u 🥺

You motivated me so much. A year ago I started with Hangul. I was able to write and read, but I stopped because I felt lost after that. Anyway, I decided to start over. I am grateful that this video was in my youtube recommendations. Thank you this was very helpful 💜

Wow, your Korean handwriting is much better than my son's, who is Korean but was born in New Zealand. I taught Korean in the Sejong language institute in NZ and I really loved that experience. I appreciate your passion on Korean language. :-)

It's true when someone says learning hangul is easy. I fully started around two hours ago and i already rememner half of the alphabeth. Now it's important to learn other things but thank you this really helped a lot. I'll sure try to learn the same way you did ^^

I have studied Korean for a while now and all I can say is: You sound like a native speaker of the language that's not easy to achieve.

이렇게 많은 사람들이 한국에 관심을 가지고 한국어를 배우고 싶어한다는게 너무 신기하다..

Korean is such a beautiful language! I recently started learning Korean and i’m really exited to be able to say phrases, and even sentences using Korean in the future:) good luck to fellow Korean learners out there!🩷

02:44 I do this!!

Last week I was reading Kpop lyrics on Spotify while listening to the songs (I had nothing better to do) and I started recognizing many Hangul characters and sounds.

So I started writing my favourite kpop artist's name just for fun because it is so easy once you know the sounds!

It's like a little puzzle!

Edit: I wasn't planning on seriously taking up studying Korean (because I am already studying French, and Spanish and I wanted to start with Japanese) but your video was so helpful and interesting that I might just start with Korean right away! I love learning languages and just listening to you speak and looking at your notes was so tempting!

This is SOOO helpful. Honestly even though I am married to a Korean and live in Korea, I find my self being discouraged when studying Korean. It feels like I’ll never be able to speak it. But hearing you speak and talk about how you studied it is SO ENCOURAGING. Thank you 🥰
